SQL Job for DB failing because of error "Maximum length of '0000000100' for attribute: 'JOBS/SERVER_NAME' exceeded"

Issue/Introduction

After attempting to connect to a new database, the job are failing

U00020449 Runtime error in object 'JOB_POSTGRES_DB' line '00002': Maximum length of '0000000100' for attribute: 'JOBS/SERVER_NAME' exceeded. 'xxxx' is too long.

Resolution

This is a limitation of the Product and this error can occur if you have input the attributes of the job via variable.

Enter those variables, such as database name in the database field instead to show the proper error message "The maximum length is 100 characters".

This will not allow more than 100 character to be displayed but will make sure that what you are experiencing is a limitation of the Product. If you would like this feature in a future release, please consider submitting an enhancement request.
