Downloading patches, PSPAKs, and hotfixes from Broadcom Support Portal for Aria Suite products

Issue/Introduction

Migrating from VMware to Broadcom support portal has changed how patches, PSPAKS, and hotfixes are supplied on the portal.

Note:

  • Following the VMware by Broadcom Day 2 transition on May 6, 2024, Customer Connect has been migrated to the Broadcom Support. This migration impacts the VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle as follows:

    • All Product Support Packs, along with product and patch binaries, will now need to be downloaded from the Broadcom Support Portal

    • Users must then manually map these into the VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle

    • Additionally, all online download methods previously available in the VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle will be disabled in the user interface upon upgrading to our next release.

Resolution

Patches and hotfixes can be downloaded from the Broadcom Support Portal by following the steps below

  1. Log in to https://support.broadcom.com with your user account
  2. Select VMware Cloud Foundation from the drop-down menu.



  3. Select My Downloads from the left side menu
  4. Select the product that you are looking for a hotfix or legacy build:

    Note: Depending on the version you are looking for you may need to look in specific categories, such as:

    • VMware Aria Operations
    • VMware vRealize Operations
    • VMware vRealize Operations Manager
    • VMware Aria Operations for Logs
    • VMware vRealize Log Insight

  5. Select the Solutions tab in the main pane, and click the product name to expand the selection

  6. You will have a list of product versions that have hotfixes available to download. 

    Please note that for EOGS releases, only the last available hotfix is available. Hotfixes are cumulative and contains all fixes in previous hotfixes.
