Issue/Introduction

Device gets into automaton but initial deployment fails to run an imaging job.

Environment

8.7.2

Cause

Imported a unsupported version of Windows ADK 10.1.26100.1 (May 2024).

bootwiz.log file shows the following error:

        Exit code: (20) 20 BDC_EXIT_INVALID_OS_TYPE - Invalid OS Type

Resolution

From Windows Control Panel > Program and Features uninstall:

• Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit version 10.1.26200.1 
• Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit Windows Preinstallation Environment Add-on version 10.1.26200.1 

From Notification Server run through this article: 

• https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/228797/
• Download, install, and import a supported version of Windows ADK ( version 22H2 )
