To download VMware Workstation and Fusion Products:
You must be a registered user on the Broadcom Support Portal. Follow Register for an account on the Broadcom Support Portal and Communities to register.
Please Note:
- Basic users are not entitled to call support numbers or use live chat.
- As these free products do not come with Enterprise support, Basic users should utilize Broadcom Communities, online documents and Knowledge Base articles for more information, guidance, and/or support.
- Users will not get any support from the Global Customer Assistance (GCA) team about any product related queries, therefore we encourage you to post your questions and issues in Broadcom Communities, where someone there can address your concerns.
- The Desktop Hypervisor team will closely monitor Broadcom Communities and will try to answer any and all questions/queries submitted by users related to the products. In conjunction with answering any product questions and issues, the team will identify any product related bugs and suggestions from the community to help improve the product and experience for customers and improve future releases. further.
- After registering a basic user profile on the Broadcom Support Portal, your profile will need to be screened and approved by our Internal Export Compliance team before you are allowed to download the free tier of available products (The profile screening and approval process can take several weeks to complete and is completely dependent on the number of profiles that are in queue for screening,).
- Site ID is not required for Basic users in order to download free products.
- Basic users will not be assigned a Site ID (available only for Enterprise customers, who purchased Broadcom’s other front-line products), and a Site ID is not required for downloading free products in the support portal.
- Basic users will be able to download products as soon as their profile is screened and approved by the Export Compliance team without having a Site ID.
Downloading DH Products:
1. Go to broadcom.com.

2. In the upper right corner, select 'Support Portal'
3. Either log in by clicking 'Go To Portal' or 'Register' for a basic Broadcom account. Quick link to the registration form
4. Once logged in, go to support.broadcom.com if you're not redirected there.
5. Click the dropdown to choose the VMware Cloud Foundation division.
6. On the left, click 'My Downloads'.
7. Search for either Fusion or Workstation.
8. Click the product name (VMware Fusion 13 Pro for Personal Use or VMware Workstation 17 Pro for Personal Use ).


9. Notice the dropdown for the Personal Use edition (it is the exact same binaries as the Commercial one).


10. Select 17.5.2 or 13.5.2.


11. Download and install.
