vCenter Cannot Connect on Port 7444

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• When you connect to the following link https://<vCenter_IP_or_FQDN>:7444/sts/STSService into the browser gives the below error:
  • 
• SSH into the vCenter logged in as root, type "shell" and check the output of the following command:
  • # iptables -L |grep 7444
  • No output will be displayed.

Cause

Third-party solution using this specific port (7444) won't be able to work.
