Private Key exposed in NSX-T syslog

Issue/Introduction

• Affected VMware NSX-T Data Center versions 3.2.0 to 3.2.x.
• Certificate private key observed in NSX Manager log /var/log/syslog.

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center

Cause

Due to an incorrect debug setting, the private key was logged in the NSX Managers syslog file.
If a logging server is enabled, the key may be present there also.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX 3.2.3.2 and 4.2.0, available at Broadcom downloads.
