NSX-T Loadbalancer - Current Session count is abnormally high

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Not all the Virtual Servers are affected.
• Navigate to the statistics of the Virtual Server (Via the NSX-T UI or NSX-T CLI) and notice the current session stats are constantly increasing from one week to another.
• After a few weeks, the value has reached an abnormal high number.
• This issue is cosmetic and there is no impact in the dataplane.

VMware NSX-T Data Center
VMware NSX-T Data Center 3.x

Cause

There is an issue within the calculation of the NSX-T Load Balancer current session count. Instead of displaying the current values, the command (UI and CLI) is returning the current value plus the sum up of the previous one.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX-T 3.2.1 (build number 19801959)

Impact/Risks:
None, the issue is purely cosmetic and will affect only the Load Balancers statistics.
