Solve causes for partitions with abnormally large files on NSX-v Managers

 

 

/common partition full:

• NSX for vSphere 6.4.x postgres database queuing too many events and alarms causing high NSX Manager CPU utilization and filing of /common partition (67082)
• NSX Manager disk becomes full with IDFW data (2148341)

 

Solve causes for partitions with abnormally large files on NSX-v Edges 

/var/log partition full: 

• NSX Edge /var/log is getting full on active Edge (50108355)
• NSX Edge stops responding with /var/log partition at 100% disk usage (2150467)

Solve causes for partitions with abnormally large files on NSX-v Controllers

/var/log partition full: 

• NSX Controller syslog file does not rotate and consumes all space in /var/log (59509)
