How to perform a restore of the CB App Control Das Database

Environment

• Carbon Black App Control: All Supported Versions
• SQL Server: All Supported Versions

Resolution

1. Stop the Carbon Black App Control Server and Report Services
2. If the Agent is installed disable the Agent per these steps
3. Drop the Existing DAS database from SQL
4. Restore the Existing DAS Database using SQL Management Studio
5. If changes have been made in the console since the last backup the CL version may need to be manually bumped.
