Issue/Introduction

Delete 'Jetty' files that build up in the /tmp directory on the Carbon Black EDR Server

Environment

• Carbon Black EDR Server: All Supported Versions

Resolution

1. Stop EDR Services
2. Delete any jetty-*.dir files that need to be removed
3. Start EDR Services

Additional Information

• Check and make sure SOLR debugging is disabled:
  • Edit /etc/cb/solr/logback.conf.xml (as root, making sure to save the file after edits): 
  • Validate if the following is enabled for debugging: 
    

    <logger name="org.apache.solr" level="DEBUG" /> 
    Change to: 
    <logger name="org.apache.solr" level="INFO" /> 
    Change: 
    <logger name="org.apache.solr.search.SolrIndexSearcher" level="DEBUG" /> 
    to 
    <logger name="org.apache.solr.search.SolrIndexSearcher" level="INFO" />

  jetty-0.0.0.0-9000-jolokia.war-_jolokia-any-134567891011.dir
