I am seeing errors like this in the discovery_server log for a small number of robots -- is it meaningful?
[nisCacheWorker-100] ERROR com.nimsoft.discovery.server.nimbus.scan.NisCacheParser - Skipping nis cache entry with missing id : type=null : from robot <robotname>
This error message has been observed when the robot identified in the error message is, or was recently, out of disk space.
In some cases, when UIM attempts to create the niscache files and there is not enough room on the filesystem, incomplete files may be generated.
When discovery_server imports the niscache for these robots an error will be generated.
1. Ensure the disk space issue has been resolved and the filesystem where the UIM Robot is installed has plenty of free space.
2. Reset the niscache on the robot
3. Restart discovery_server on the primary hub
