Cannot create "QOS Metric Name" on logmon MCS Profile

Issue/Introduction

When creating an enhanced logmon profile in MCS it is not possible to select "QOS Metric Name" on the Variable Sub profile. The drop-down does not work. 

 

If no Metric Name is established, the QOS cannot be stored to the DB so this creates an issue. 

 

 

Environment

UIM 20.4.x

Logmon MCS Enhanced Template any version

Cause

Missing Logmon Enhanced Setup profile

Resolution

The QOS Name needs to be defined first in a child profile of "Setup Logmon"

logmon MCS Profile Type Configuration (broadcom.com)

 

So,  create a setup logmon profile Enhanced

Create a QOS Definition
