Modern UX - Fields are deleted after switching quickly to other fields.

Issue/Introduction

When entering data in a text field in Clarity Modern UX and quickly switch to a different text field then type some more text data, when you switch back to the first text field again and type some more data quickly then part of the data that is typed in gets erased when the user double click in the field.

Step To Reproduce:

1. Create a project in Clarity Modern UX
2. In the Project Properties page, type some test data in the 'Objective' field and quick switch to Project name field and type some more data
3. Switch back to the 'Objective' field again and type some more test data then double click at the end of the string

Expected Results: The data typed in the 'Objective' field should remain intact
Actual Results: Data typed in the 'Objective' field gets truncated

Cause

This is caused by a timing issue when the API is retrieving the values, logged as DE78710.

Resolution

This is not reproducible in 16.2.1.1
