Issue/Introduction
This document describes what Cloud Platforms are supported for SMG.
Resolution
Currently the only cloud platform supported for native installation is Microsoft Azure. Other cloud platforms are not supported for native installation at this time.
Installation on a non-supported cloud virtualization platform can still be supported if the Messaging Gateway is installed into a supported platform that has been nested in the non-supported platform. For example, if you install Linux on a non-supported platform and then used nested virtualization with Linux KVM to install the Messaging Gateway, it would be a supported installation.
