Issue/Introduction

You would like to deploy Messaging Gateway on the Azure cloud platform.

Resolution

Version 10.8.1 and newer:

As of version 10.8.1, the Messaging Gateway has an installation image available for deployment. The installation instructions are available in the installation guide and the following article provides information on obtaining the installation files:

Download the latest Messaging Gateway ISO from Broadcom

Version 10.8.0 and older:

Messaging Gateway (SMG) may be installed into a supported Hyper-V instance regardless of the underlying hardware / cloud platform.

While SMG cannot currently be installed directly as an Azure virtual machine / VHD, SMG may be installed into a Hyper-V instance hosted in Azure. Support for direct installation of SMG as a VHD in Azure will be added in a future release.
