Inviting enterprise users to a Site ID on the Broadcom support portal

Issue/Introduction

As a Site Administrator on the Broadcom support portal, learn how to invite enterprise user to a Site ID.

Important: User Administrators can not invite basic users to a Site ID. Basic users can follow the instructions to build their profile and upgrade to an enterprise user.

Resolution

  1. Log in to the Broadcom Support Portal.
  2. In the left menu, click My Tools, and then select Administration.



  3. Click the Invite User tab.
  4. Enter the Site ID and email address of the end-user you'd like to associate the Site ID to.



  5. Click Submit.
  6. The end-user will receive an email notification indicating their profile is now associated with the Site ID, and they will now be able to create cases, download software, and generate license keys for products supported under that Site ID.
