Issue/Introduction

Resolution

Starting on June 12, 2023, the Web Isolation service can be deployed in the Tel Aviv, Israel region (GCP region name: me-west1).

Existing Web Isolation customers

 

You can migrate an existing (provisioned) Web Isolation Cloud environment to the new region. Open a Support Ticket with the following information:

• Your Web Isolation tenant name.
• Full or partial migrations: If your Web Isolation environment is currently deployed over multiple regions, specify whether all existing resources should be migrated to the target region, or to specific region(s).
• Partial migrations: Specify if the target region should act as the primary region (the region in which all Activity Logs and Configurations are stored).
• Desired migration time from the range Sunday - Thursday, 07:00 - 18:00 UTC (Non-business hours are recommended)

New Web Isolation customers

The Tel Aviv region is now available for new Web Isolation Cloud deployments as part of the provisioning request in the Symantec Cloud Management Portal.
