How to force telemetry service to collect data every few minutes instead of every 24 hours?
DX Platform on-premise 2x
1) Open doi-telemetry deployment
2) Locate SCHEDULER_CRON_EXP
3) For example to run the job every 2 minutes update the property as below
From 0 0 23 * * ?
To 0 */2 * ? * *
4) Save the changes
5) Open the logs
- check there is not errors or exceptions
- search for "ingesting metric size" , "successfully ingested provided metrics to nass" , "flushing queued metrics in segment.com client" , below an example of the output:
6) Check results in DX Dashboards > OI Telemetry
After pod restart you will see new data points in the graph. NOTE: By default data is gathered every 24 hours.
