Issue/Introduction

The MUX Financial Plans module has got a % Spent field.

However, the Financials module does not. Is this something that can be created?

Resolution

Here a sample of the Financial plans module 

Here is what you can do to create a copy of the % Spent field:

1. Go to Studio > Objects > Cost Plan details object > Attributes tab

2. Create a calculated attribute: (total_cost_actual/total_cost)

3. Add the resulting calculated attribute to the Cost Plan Details list view

4. Go to the Cost Plan Details list view > Fields and change the display type to Calculated percent

Now when you look at the Clarity side (Classic Ui Cost plan details view, here is what it looks like:

Additional Information

The % Spent field can only be added as a Total value.

This can not be added on periods as no Time Varying field can be created over a calculated field.

This could be raised as an enhancement through the Product management calls:
