In preparation for SMP-Batch-Receive of most recent PTFs, I tried to ACCEPT all applied maintenance.
SMP log shows GIM38201E ** THERE IS A MODID ERROR for two PTFs.
GIM38201E ** THERE IS A MODID ERROR FOR MAC ENTRY $RMHIMSG IN SYSMOD SO13702.
GIM31901I SYSMOD SO13702 DOES NOT SPECIFY RO33485 ON THE PRE OR SUP OPERAND. RO33485 IS THE RMID FOR MAC $RMHIMSG
THAT IS CURRENTLY INSTALLED.
GIM22601I ACCEPT PROCESSING FAILED FOR SYSMOD SO13702.
GIM38201E ** THERE IS A MODID ERROR FOR MAC ENTRY $$SYSPRO IN SYSMOD SO14046.
GIM31901I SYSMOD SO14046 DOES NOT SPECIFY RO29645 ON THE PRE OR SUP OPERAND. RO29645 IS THE RMID FOR MAC $$SYSPRO
THAT IS CURRENTLY INSTALLED.
GIM22601I ACCEPT PROCESSING FAILED FOR SYSMOD SO14046.
Last apply is long ago (2021). No PTFs have ever been accepted before.
LIST SYSMODS of the PTFs missing from the PRE chain shows
NAME
RO29645 TYPE = SUPERSEDED
LASTSUP = CC2D710
RO33485 TYPE = SUPERSEDED
LASTSUP = CC2D710
These are part of the base install.
Please help to correct.
Release : 11.9
Latest PTFs do not include the initial PTFs for the updated modules that are part of the base product. Specifically:
SO14046 has no PRE's. It SUP's RO73803 and RO96264, both of which have RO29645 as a PRE.
SO13702 has no PRE's. It SUPs SO13701, which has RO33485 as a PRE.
Thus there is no direct link between the current PTFs and the base level of the modules.
Solution was to ACCEPT the PTFs that were SUP'd, then the PTFs that had been showing an error, followed by all other PTFs.
Specifically:
Customer update:
I first accepted RO96264, RO73803.
then I accepted SO14046,
then I accepted SO01071,
then I accepted SO13702,
then I accepted the rest.
Now all are accepted.
