Issue/Introduction

SMP/E APPLY of SO08157 give error:

GIM38201E ** THERE IS A MODID ERROR FOR MAC ENTRY $REAOMMS IN SYSMOD SO08157.
GIM31901I SYSMOD SO08157 DOES NOT SPECIFY SO01714 ON THE PRE OR SUP OPERAND. SO01714 IS THE RMID FOR MAC $REAOMMS 
                THAT IS CURRENTLY INSTALLED. 
 GIM22601I    APPLY PROCESSING FAILED FOR SYSMOD SO08157.

Cause

The problem is that SO08157 doesn't have SO01714 in its PRE or SUP list.
This problem only occurs when SO06903 is not applied before SO08157 is applied.
SO06903 has a PRE for SO01714 and SO08157 then SUPs SO06903.

Resolution

Please do not apply SO08157.

Instead, please  APPLY replacement PTF SO10172. It corrects all problems with missing PRE's , and also automatically includes all other PTFs listed in the description and ++HOLD of SO08157 as needing to be applied at the same time.

It also Supersedes SO08157.
