Symantec Web Email Protection has a convenient feature to allow secure communications of emails via Web Email Protection. All language types are supported and allowed, but in some rare cases, the encoding may not be properly displayed. This article will cover this scenario.
As you can see in the screenshot above, these are improper characters for the Greek language.
The proper characters should be seen as below:
Symantec Encryption Management Server 10.5 and above.
If the characters of non-US English characters are not getting typed properly, look at the sending user's email client and see which encoding is being used.
It may help to change the encoding to US-ASCII instead of encoding may be used at the time. The configuration below may have more success:
