CA Application Performance Management (APM / Wily / Introscope)

Issue/Introduction

https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article?articleId=242664

Another article (above) popped-up also and that too doesn't apply b/c I am not seeing the "#introscope.apm.feature.enabled=false' property at all in MoM's 'IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.properties' file

Do I need to set that property for APM 10.8?

Environment

Release : 10.8

Resolution

Note this was always a hidden property

https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/it-operations-management/application-performance-management/10-8/ca-apm-release-notes.html

CA Customer Experience Manager (CEM) is Deprecated
CA APM no longer supports the CA CEM capability, including the Transaction Impact Monitor (TIM), the Transaction Events and Statistics Server (TESS), and the use of the Multi-Port Monitor (MTP). If you use CA Service Operations Insight (CA SOI), you must update your connector to the latest version to remove dependencies on the CA CEM TESS

I looked at the APM DB install scripts. And the new tables are appmap only.

So, the answer is a moot one. The CEM service is already disabled in APM 10.8 and there are no CEM. tables. So setting to false is not needed.
