IU_UMNTOAX Can not connect to server. Error! Command uxext in error

Issue/Introduction

After having increased the cache for objects and disabled the Dump Logs as recommended on this article to improve the command line, job runs display and job submission performances, the maintenance uproc IU_UMNTOAX  that performs several "uxext" commands fail on some cases while exporting the Objects to a file with the below errors:

Object (Uproc, PTBT_CU021, 000) has been extracted.
Can not connect to server. Error!
Command uxext in error.

Object (Session, ATRTH00050, 000) has been extracted.
Object (Session, ATRTJ00010, 000) has been extracted.
Object (Session, ATRTJ00020, 000) has been extracted.

Command uxext in error.

Cause

Unknown, most likely uxioserv is overloaded due to the high Workload activity when the maintenance session is executed.

Resolution

The uproc IU_UMNTOAX should no longer be used on version 6, instead an online or full backup (uxbck uni or unibackup) executed regularly would be preferred.

Alternatively, the objects could be easily exported/backuped with the command uniexp -full that is available on UVMS command line since version 6.10.x
