Issue/Introduction

Microsoft provided the documentation below.  Can Altiris be updated to make it be detected as a workstation OS? Any VM created using Windows 10 Enterprise multi-session is taking up a server license for ITMS.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/windows-10-multisession-faq#why-does-my-application-report-windows-10-enterprise-multi-session-as-a-server-operating-system

Environment

Release : 8.5 RU4 with no point fixes.

Cause

The multi-session operating systems returns the same product code as a server operating system, and though detected accurately by Basic Inventory and Inventory Solution scans, some filters on the back end may not categorize correctly as Windows 10.

Resolution

If this is noted in your environment and you are on 8.5 RU4 with no point fixes, please apply the latest SMA_SMP cumulative point fix in the article, CUMULATIVE POST ITMS 8.5 RU4 POINT FIXES
