Issue/Introduction

This affects several network devices, all same model & firmware version. Network team claims the consumed memory is around 5-6 GB out of 16 GB.

Have downloaded DCD 3.90, pushed it to the hub and remove-add the network devices again, but the issue still remains.

Environment

Release : Any supported UIM version

probe: snmpcollector

Model Type: CiscoNXOS

Cisco Nexus 9372PX-E

Resolution

According to the mibwalk provided, Device certification team have certified 2 OIDs, following the rule: ceExtNVRAMSize >= ceExtNVRAMUsed.

But now we can see
ceExtNVRAMSize    1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.195.1.1.1.2.598, Gauge       , 364916736
ceExtNVRAMUsed    1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.195.1.1.1.3.598, Gauge       , 3536400384

=> ceExtNVRAMSize < ceExtNVRAMUsed    => Memory Utilization is over 100%

So customers are recommended to contact the device vendor to resolve this issue of SNMP agent in their network device in this use case
