Monitor HPE StoreOnce 5650 Storage device with UIM

Issue/Introduction

We are trying to monitor a new storage device (HPE StoreOnce 5650)  on the UIM console. Is this supported by some storage probe or if there is another way to monitor it?

We don't have a specific/certified probe for monitoring HPE StoreOnce 5650.

Only as informational note, for different HP Storage devices, we have the hp_3par (HP 3PAR Storage Monitoring) Release Notes (broadcom.com)  but this is not designed to monitor HPE StoreOnce 5650.

For requesing Broadcom to build a dedicated probe for this monitoring you can create an IDEA for requesing support for this storage device: -->  Ideas - Broadcom Community - Discussion Forums, Technical Docs, and Expert Blogs 
If the Project Management approves it, we could have support for HPE XP7 storage

 

Alternatively, you could try using the snmpcollector probe which collects data from devices supporting snmp. Be aware that for this specific device you might not display the full list of metrics from the device as it has to be supported.
And looking at the SNMP Device support it is not.
