Incident deletion fails no errors presented

Issue/Introduction

Incident deletion failed

Environment

Within the oracle alert log you see:
ORA-08102: index key not found, obj#, file, block ()

 

Cause

No errors present in tomcat logs or within the console. 
INFO [com.vontu.manager] Incident deletion started. Incident deletion started

INFO [com.vontu.manager] Incident deletion failed. Incident deletion failed

ORA-08102 is present in the oracle alert log. 

Resolution

ORA-08102 is an indicator that the index for a table, such as MESSAGECOMPONENT ,  is non-functional.

If you have Oracle Standard Edition please contact Broadcom support for assistance. 

If you have Oracle Enterprise Edition please contact Oracle Enterprise support for assistance. 

The index and/or entire table may need to be rebuilt.
