Is an in-place upgrade of Server OS supported with Ghost Solution Suite installed?

GSS 3.x

Resolution

No, GSS does not support an in-place upgrade of its Microsoft Server OS.  The process to follow would be to:

• backup your GSS database
• do the needed OS upgrade (SQL too if needed)
• restore the GSS database
• install GSS and point it to the restored GSS database
