Unable to increase log level with "xmlmodifier: error while loading shared libraries: libicudata.so.67..."

Issue/Introduction

When trying to follow the instruction to increase the log level: https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/159007/enabling-verbose-logging-in-protection-e.html, error: "xmlmodifier: error while loading shared libraries: libicudata.so.67: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

However, the file does exist in the bin directory and the user account which ran the xmlmodifier command has root access

Resolution

- At bash prompt, type: 

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/SYMCScan/bin:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

- If symptoms persist, open a support case and provide screenshots or copy+paste of output from following command:

ldd ./xmlmodifier
