Issue/Introduction
While running BCAAA agent on Windows server (i.e. irrespective Windows server version) it started generating Event ID: 400 with detail "Error spawning child process; status=5:0x5:Access is denied." Event ID details can be checked in Microsoft Event Viewer.
On Proxy authentication health check shows failed and user cannot authentication.
For Event ID 400 for BCAAA application, as per Article ID: 165386 - BCAAA Event ID explanations it doesn't show what could be the exact reason for event ID 400 it just says, There could be various message for Event ID 400 and The associated message describes an error condition that prevents normal operation.
Even though error message says status=5:0x5:Access is denied, but there is no issue with user permission which was running BCAAA agent as with same user on another windows server BCAAA agent was running fine.
Resolution
Uninstall the currently installed BCAAA version.
If you cannot uninstall old/current version of BCAAA as it is missing from Add/Remove Programs refer KB Article 165481
Install the latest BCAAA by following steps mentioned in BCAAA 6.1 Service Requirements which should fix this issue.
