SMP Console fails to work with HTTP protocol

Issue/Introduction

When accessing the SMP Console using HTTP the following is seen:

Manage > Computers

 

(Unable to display data. See the server logs for details.)

Manage > Jobs and Tasks

(app.DataDisplayError)

The following are errors that were seen in the a.log files:

Description: Failed to process web request.

Validation of Anti-XSRF token failed. Environment

ITMS 8.6.2184 RU1

Cause

Possibly just a corrupt browser cache 

Resolution

Clearing the Chrome browser cache & cookies resolved this issue.

NOTE: This only happen with the Chrome browser when using the HTTP protocol, using the Chrome browser with HTTPS was fine.  Both Edge and Internet Explorer worked fine with both HTTP and HTTPS.
