Cannot start WA System Agent for Oracle EBS plugin

Issue/Introduction

User upgraded WA Agent v11.4 to v12.  After applying  Oracle EBS plugin, the agent has errors and terminates.

Cause

main.MainThread.OaDbHandler$OaDbHandlerSingleton.<clinit>[:213] - cybermation.plugins.oa.OaConfigException: OaDbHandler initialization failed. No suitable driver found for

jdbc:oracle:thin:@(DESCRIPTION=(LOAD_BALANCE=YES)(FAILOVER=YES)(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=xxxxxxxxxxx)(PORT=1521))(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=1x.1xx.x.x)(PORT=1521)))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=INSTANCE_ESP)))

Resolution

Check agent_install_dir\jars\ext  for ojdbc.jar driver

Validate the compatibility of the driver, see this KD for more details.

Download the new compatible JDBC jar from Oracle and copy to agent directory.

Make sure to remove the old JDBC jar, do nor rename and leave it.  Physically remove the file.

Restart WA agent.
