How to subscribe and manage notifications on Broadcom Communities?

Issue/Introduction

Community is a one-stop-shop for product news/alerts. The easiest way to stay aware of community activity is to enable email notifications.

This article will help you subscribe and manage your notifications on community page

Resolution

Basic User Account provides general access to the Broadcom Support Portal and Communities. If you don't have an account with Broadcom, register yourself by referring the steps in the article

If you would like to receive notifications for any product related posts on communities, please follow the below steps

  • Login to https://community.broadcom.com/home

  • Choose any division on the homepage for a list of product communities under each.

  • Click on the communities you're interested in and then choose "Join Community" 

  • Choose your notification settings:
    1. Real Time - One email for each message
    2. Daily Digest - One email containing all posted messages from the previous day
    3. No Email - Opt-out of receiving email messages

If you'd like to change your notification settings on Communities:

  • Log in to https://community.broadcom.com/home
  • Click on profile icon on top right side of the page

  • Go to 'My Accounts' tab, select 'Community Notifications' from drop-down

  • On this page, you'll see communities you're currently a member of. From the drop-down, you can chose what type of notification you'd like to receive (Real Time/Daily Digest/No Email) and it will be saved automatically
