Image Acquisition and Restoration Procedures - Ghost Solution Suite
Overview
This article provides step-by-step instructions for acquiring and restoring disk images using a Ghost Solution Suite (GSS) boot disk. This procedure is specifically for users of Ghost Standard Tools. Broadcom strongly recommends first capturing an image to a local USB device and verifying the restoration before attempting cloning over a network.
Prerequisites

- Supported File Systems: External storage media must be formatted as NTFS, FAT32, or FAT16. The exFAT file system is not supported [217344].
Environment
- Products: Ghost Solution Suite 3.3, Ghost Standard Tools
- Operating Systems: Windows 10, Windows 11 (see Note), Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022
