Datamart Extraction and Datamart Rollup are taking long time

Issue/Introduction

Datamart Extract and Datamart rollup jobs take a long time to complete.

Cause

This was caused by an unusual number of periods for the DAILYRESOURCEACTCURVE Slice. 

Resolution

Datamart Extraction Job loads the Calendar information using the maximum periods from the below slice requests.

• DAILYRESOURCEACTCURVE
• DAILYRESOURCEBASECURVE
• DAILYRESOURCEESTCURVE
• DAILYRESOURCEAVAILCURVE
• DAILYRESOURCEALLOCCURVE

 

If you have too large a number of periods for any of these slice request, the Datamart tries to populate those many number of periods worth of data. We need to check if the periods are set to a realistic number or not.
