EEM and IP Address Change

Issue/Introduction

EEM servers will be assigned new IP addresses.  

Are there any other concerns to be aware of regarding EEM with the new IP addresses?

Environment

Embedded Entitlements Manager (EEM) 12.x

Resolution

Normally, EEM is installed using server hostnames/FQDN and not IP addresses.

If you installed using FQDN then no changes are necessary.

Check the itechpoz.dxc file under Directory\dxserver\config\knowledge - the 'address' line with either have the FQDN or the IP address of the EEM server.
