Issue/Introduction

Upgraded CA7 from 11.3 to 12.1 and now using Datacom/AD 15.1 to manage the database.

Is there any sample JCL for Datacom/AD database backup and restore.

Resolution

There is sample JCL provided in the CAL2JCL dataset. See the following members:

AL2DBKUP - Database Stable Backup
AL2DBHOT - Database Hot Backup
AL2DLOAD - Database Load 
AL2DDGDG - Data Dictionary Backup
AL2DDRES - Data Dictionary Restore
