Issue/Introduction

Unable to select click "New" button in Virtual Network Assurance (VNA) gateway Administration->Monitored Items Management->VNA Gateways

DX NetOps Performance Management Virtual Network Assurance prevents addition of new Gateway.

We can see the Administration -> Monitored Items Management -> VNA Gateways option and can access the page, but the New button is grayed out.

All supported DX NetOps Performance Management releases

Cause

No available Data Collectors

Resolution

There must be a Data Collector available for use.

• It MUST BE registered with an IP Domain and Tenant. Can be the OOTB defaults or custom ones. Either will work.
• It MUST NOT BE a Tenant Agnostic Data Collector. See the Configure Tenant-Agnostic Data Collectors documentation topic for additional information.
• It MUST NOT BE already registered as a DX Netops Virtual Network Assurance (VNA) Gateway for another VNA host.

Additional Information

Another possible cause is use of a Low Scale Data Aggregator and Data Collector where they share a single host. See the following KB article for additional information.
