Issue/Introduction

In Spectrum versions 22.x and below there was an entry in the $SPECROOT/SS/.vnmrc file to set a threshold on the number of ports a device has:

high_port_count_threshold=1000

This entry no longer exists or works in Spectrum 23.x and above.

Resolution

Use the VNM model attribute HighPortCountThreshold (0x133d9) and change the default setting of 1000 to an acceptable value, then restart SpectroSERVER.
