Issue/Introduction

When I try to install a new license on a PAM Appliance, I receive the following error message:

"Unexpected token END OF FILE at position 0”

Environment

Product: Layer 7 Privileged Access Manager.
Version: 3.x

Cause

The more likely causes for this error are:
  • The license files are corrupted.
  • The new license files do not contain the same features the old license installed on the node had.

Resolution

Please open a new case to request a new set of licenses, providing the sysinfo files from both appliances and a screenshot of the 'Current License' tab in the 'Configuration / Licensing' pane in the PAM Client:
