Issue/Introduction

The following article outlines the steps required to create a Partner Portal User Profile to gain access to the Broadcom Partner Portal.

Resolution

IMPORTANT (Before Proceeding): To create your Partner Portal User Profile for CA, Symantec, and VMware, there are two key requirements:

Step 1: Register for a Broadcom Support Portal Account:

    • Use your corporate email address to register. Shared email accounts or distribution lists (PDLs) are not accepted.
    • If you already have an account, proceed directly to step 2.
    • If you need to create an account, follow the instructions in the Register for an account on the Broadcom Support Portal article, then continue to step 2.

Step 2: Upgrade to Partner Access:

    • Once your Basic User Account is created, use the Profile Builder to upgrade it with Partner access.

  1. Navigate to the Broadcom Support Portal and click the drop-down by your username and select My Profile.




  2. Under the My Profile section, click on Build your Profile.



  3. Click Yes, I want to build my Profile.



  4. Select “Broadcom Partner” in Profile Builder
    • Enter your Partner details and click Submit. (IF you do not know your partner ERP number, Reach out to the Partner Help Desk and they can provide that to you)
    • If your company name comes up and it is not listed in the drop down, select other and fill in your correct company name



    • Validate your detailed and click Confirm & Continue



  5. Email Confirmation and Upgrade Validation

    • You will receive an email stating your request was submitted



    • Once approved you will receive a second email stating your request was approved



  6. You’ll now have access to the Broadcom Partner Portal and the Broadcom Learning Management System
