About support for later versions of operating systems and/or SharePoint
The tables above shows the earliest version of SPSS supported on each SharePoint version. Certification continues for each branch of the SPSS code. For instance, the matrix above lists SPSS 6.0.3 as the first version of SPSS certified for SharePoint Server 2010. This also means that subsequent builds SPSS 6.0.4, SPSS 6.0.5, etc., are also certified on that version of SharePoint.

The SPSS build number can be checked through the following ways:
Right-click on the "Symantec.SharePoint.Service.exe" file under the default SPSS installation folder.
From the SharePoint Central Administration page, browse to Operations > Symantec Protection 6.0 for SharePoint Servers> "SharePoint Server Farm overview"

Product combinations which are not listed here or are shown with 'N' are “NOT SUPPORTED/ NOT CERTIFIED”, meaning that SPSS ENGINEERING has not completed a full certification process. For these combinations of SPSS, SPE and SharePoint server versions, Symantec Technical Support offers best effort support. In situations where reproduction is needed, Technical Support will seek to reproduce on the closest supported combination of SharePoint server version.
