How to collect a diagnostics package from the Messaging Gateway

Issue/Introduction

Technical Support has instructed you to collect a diagnostics package from your Messaging Gateway (SMG).

Resolution

To create the diagnostics package,

  1. Click on Administration at the top.
  2. Click on Utilities in the left pane.
  3. Click on the Diagnostics tab.
  4. Select the Host that you need to troubleshoot.
  5. Only check the "All log data" option, leave the other options blank unless otherwise directed by Support.
  6. Click Generate to create the package.
  7. Save the resulting diagnostics file.
  8. Upload the diagnostics file to the case for Support review.
