Issue/Introduction

Does Broadcom support migrating Altiris to Azure or AWS RDS service?  

Is it supported to host the Altiris database on Azure SQL or AWS RDS?

ITMS 8.x

Resolution

Symanted/Broadcom has not done any testing on Azure SQL or AWS RDS services so it is not officially supported and there arre no current plans for testing ITMS in Azure or AWS at this point.

The supported alternative is to put the both SQL Server and the Notification Server in the cloud.  See more information in KB article Implementing ITMS in the Cloud
