As a partner or customer upgrading from Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition Cloud (SEP SBE Cloud) to Endpoint Protection Cloud (SEPC) need to understand how the upgrade affects servers. Do they need to reboot, and can the reboot be controlled?
Symantec has adjusted the migration process based on the feedback of our partners and customers. In the current design, unless otherwise specified in the system policy, partners and customers are able to upgrade their servers on their own time and schedule. If servers are not upgraded 30 days after the console is upgraded, a banner is displayed in the SEP Cloud console alerting you to manually upgrade the servers.
