This is a rare side effect of the upgrade process. If it occurs, the device/group does not have adequate security policy applied and one should be applied immediately.
Navigate to the Policies tab, and select Security Policies
From here, click the arrow next to any of the policies you wish to apply from this list (or Symantec Recommended security policy if that is the only one) and click Apply to Group. Select the group without a policy and click Apply
The device will now be protected by whichever policy is applied.
