Yes, the Dashboard consumes memory and can potentially affect the performance of Reporter in terms of log processing.

Adding more widgets also consumes proportionately more Reporter memory.

If you have a large number of widgets on your dashboard, Symantec recommends that you avoid attempting to process logs at the same time that you run the dashboard.
