On a VMware virtual machine with Symantec Data Center Security (DCS), you experience a black screen when logging off a Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP session. The black screen may be shown for a minute or longer, resulting in a perceived hang.
This issue was resolved by VMware in ESXi 6.0 Patch Release ESXi600-201608001 and VMware Tools version 10.0.8. It affected all systems with VMware Tools 10.0.0 to 10.0.7.
