When using the Symantec Endpoint Protection 14 Manager console, special characters cannot be directly entered. When trying to enter these characters, no results are displayed; the fields remain blank.
This issue is resolved in Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) 14 RU1. For more information on upgrading, please see Upgrade or migrate to Endpoint Protection 14.
The symbols can be entered properly in two other ways:
Using the method of `Alt+numbers`, such as Alt-0124.
Copy and paste the characters from another source such as Microsoft Word.
